The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in California he was 55 years old.

Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, a game studio he co-founded.

The renowned industry figure lost his life when his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a highway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, as reported by.
